Close To My Heart's® Exclusive Inks™ re- inkers aren't just for refreshing stamp pads. This is a fun way to make your own custom cardstock for elegant backgrounds. I used Garden Green and Cranberry re- inkers and Colonial White cardstock to coordinate with the Elegant Floral stamps. See more shaving cream artwork.

Instructions: 1. Spread the shaving cream about 1" deep in the tray. 2. Shake the re-inkers well and apply drops randomly on the surface of the shaving cream. 3. Using your knife swirl the drops to make a marbled pattern. 4. Gently press the cardstock into the shaving cream. Lift the cardstock off. 5. Using the spatula scrape the shaving cream off, wiping the spatula after each pass. Put the used cream in a bowl or the trash. 6. Allow the cardstock to air dry. 7. You will be able to make several more sheets. You may want to add more re-inkers or re-swirl the ink.

Learn from my mistakes: - Don't scrape the used shaving cream into your sink and let it sit. If you have a light colored sink it will be marbled. - Wear an apron and cover your work surface. - Be sure to wipe the shaving cream off the spatula with each pass or you will have smudges.
